2023 round up!
Can you believe it's that time again where we look back on the previous year and reflect on everything we've accomplished? 2023 was the BIGGEST year so far for our business, and we are beyond grateful for your support. Getting to wake up and do what I love everyday is something I'll never take for granted.
To start the year we had the incredible opportunity to have our products on sale in Design 44 - an independent retail store in Derby Shopping Centre. This was such a surreal moment as Derby is Paige's home city, and all her family and friends would pop in and send her photos of our products.
23 brand new Gouache Painting Kits were designed and released this year - which is very fitting as we're at the end of 2023! Plus we created 4 brand new boxes for The Gouache Lovers Club - Bloom + Blossom, Flower Festival, Pumpkin Cottage and Frosty Cottage. 2023 also saw the release of our first book 'What a Wonderful World'. We are super proud that we were able to publish our first book independently, and after 7 months of hard work we couldn't be happier with the response. This book has been shipped all over the world, and has now sold out 3 times!!! In the first couple of weeks after the launch we were already receiving emails and messages asking if we were going to create more books... more on that later.
This year I also celebrated one whole year of working as a full time artist at Paige's Illustrations. On the 26th August 2022 I walked out of the doors at my day job for the last time, and never looked back! I'm so proud of 2022 Paige, and I'm not sure 2024 Paige would have been so brave - but I'm so glad she was! This has been the best and most free year of my life. Even though there are hard and stressful times I wouldn't change it at all. We will continue to be here for as long as our customers will have us.
